  • To introduce students to the principles and practices of proportional control
  • Introduction to the study of circuit construction and circuit components
  • To introduce basic principles of design of proportional systems

1. Aims

  1. Students will gain knowledge of both analogue and digital proportional systems
  2. Students will gain knowledge of both open and closed loop proportional systems
  3. For student to become familiar with set-up procedures on proportional systems
  4. For students to become familiar with maintenance and fault finding techniques on proportional hydraulic systems
